Two brass candle holders that hold standard 6" household candles. Pentagrams on this Wiccan Altar table are wood burned around the candle holders for long lasting beauty. On back board is wood burnt "And it harm none, do as ye will" in Theban the Witches language. Beautifully stained in a oak and danish oil finish for durability and a natural finish.

No metal is used in final assembly this wiccan altar table, (except for the brass candle holders) as some believe that metal can interfere with the flow of energies.

This altar is created in the style of extreme pyrography. Pyrography is the art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated object such as a poker. It is also known as pokerwork or wood burning. Pyrography means "writing with fire" and is the traditional art of using a heated tip or wire to burn or scorch designs onto natural materials such as wood or leather. Burning can be done by means of a modern solid-point tool (similar to a soldering iron) or hot wire tool, or a more basic extreme method using a torch resulting in the method used on our "Element of Fire" altar which is actually kissed with fire.
